Milk Powder
Warrnambool Cheese and Butter produces a range of milk powders including skim milk powder and buttermilk powder, according to customers' specific requirements. This facility uses the latest technology and has the daily capacity to produce approximately 135 tonnes of milk powder from 1.4 million litres of skim milk. Almost all the milk powder manufactured at the site is sold on the international market. The powder is used in recombined milk, bakery products, confectionery, infant formula and dairy desserts such as yoghurt and ice-cream.
The major markets to which milk powders are exported include Japan, China, the Middle East, Europe, South East Asia and South America.
